Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission

As the Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission’s current website notes,

The SLMM was the international, independent and impartial monitoring mechanism deployed to Sri Lanka in 2002. At the request of the Parties to the Sri Lankan Ceasefire Agreement (CFA), the mission was established, manned and financed by the Nordic governments, executing a field operation until the Agreement was abrogated in 2008.
